I got prescribed Buspirone for anxiety, what about depression?!

Question: I got prescribed Buspirone for anxiety, what about depression!?
okay so my psychologist said i have social anxiety and depression (which i believe, because i have all the symptoms) and my mom does too but she was kinda worried about just getting me zoloft or paxil or something!. we couldn't get an appointment with a psychiatrist soon enough, so we went to my primary care doctor!. i told her i had social anxiety AND depression and she prescribed me Buspirone but it doesn't do anything for my depression! i really wish i could just get zoloft because it'd take care of the anxiety AND the depression!. it annoys me that she (the doctor) just totally ignored what my psychologist said!. what can i do to get zoloft!? i'm not a junkie or anything, i just want to have a medication that takes care of the whole thing, not just half the problem!. Well as a person who has suffered through years of extreme anxiety and some depression, I can say that nothing will take it all away!. You have to work with your therapist to get through this!. He or she can also help you with techniques and exercises that can help you get through and maybe even get over your illness!.

As someone who has also taken TONS of different kinds of meds, I suggest you try what your doctor gave you!. Give it a chance! Everyone that I know who has taken Zoloft has had serious symptoms and they all stopped taking it!. So why not try what the doc gave you first!?

Either way, good luck living with your anxiety/depression, I hope that you can some day defeat these problems :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Antidepressants do not work for everyone, just because zoloft is meant to work for something, doesnt mean it will for everyone!.

There are HUNDREDS of possibilities for anti-depressants, most havent been developed yet!.

Everyone is so different, just because something works for some, it may not work for you!.

Start with what you are perscribed, the doctor knows best, no offense but all you know is what the media says, and others making you think zoloft is best, but it might not be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It takes a while for these meds to start working!. How long have you been taking them!? No one would think your a junkie for wanting zoloft, It doesn't make you feel high!. Therapy will also help with the depression!. you can help yourself with depression, there isn't a magic pill you take, you also have to find what it is that is making you depressed and take medication!. Give the meds at least 3 weeks to start working!.

I had overwhelming anxiety!. It turned out to be my use of Splenda!. Yup Splenda!.

I like to say sucralose, not Splenda, because that is what Splenda is!. And it is in a lot of stuff!. The package doesn't have to say Splenda to have sucralose in it!. You have to read labels!. So, you might still be using it and don't even know it!

Sucralose is poison!. It ruined five years of my life!. I had a laundry list of medical problems while taking it, including overwhelming anxiety, depression, mood swings, insomnia and more!.

Go ahead, google: anxiety splenda or anxiety sucralose or insomnia splenda or insomnia sucralose

The slogan, "Made from sugar!.!.!." is very misleading!. Splenda might be made from sugar, but it is far from sugar!. The resulting chemical is an organochloride (chlorocarbon)!. Organochlorides are typically poisons!.

carbon monoxide - made from oxygen so its like a breath of fresh airWww@Answer-Health@Com
