Question: How long does seroquel withdrawal last
ive took myself off seroquel and ive been sick for the past 2 days and still not feeling any better i was on it for 5 months and i was on between 100-400 MG i want to know how long ill be sick for and when i should start feeling better and what i can do or take to feel betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you are experienceing withdrawl, the symptoms of withdrawl should stop within 1-2 weeks (ie feeling sick, headache, bodyaches, etc)'
They will get less and less!. Since you have already gone 2 days, the only thing you can do is wait it out!.
It would have been better to go off it slowly by splitting your dose in half and then in half again, etc!. This way, you slowly let your body get used to no Seroquel!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Seroquel is not a medicine that you can just quit without consulting your doctor!. Its a strong medication given in serious disorders and stopping it suddenly means you are inviting trouble and predisposing yourself to a relapse of the condition you started out with!. Yes you can substitute the medication with another drug if seroquel is giving you problems but that can be done only under a doctor's supervisiion!. Best of luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
