Question: What is wrong with her!?
I was walking down the street and some crazy bag lady walked by, threw up on my shoes, and started to stumble away!.
I yelled for her to stop and she pulled a broken whiskey bottle out of her beehive hairdo and threatened me with it!.
She then tried to assault me but tripped and her prescription meds, crack pipe, and heroin needle spilled out all over the sidewalk!.
I ran screaming for help!. Luckily, I was able to get away!.

It is most likely your shouting at her to stop was rightly interpreted as a threat to her and it was probably in self defense that she pulled out the broken bottle!. She probably perceived you as some young upstart who was going to mug HER or attack HER, merely a weak and mumbling elderly woman with no one around to protect her!. She probably HAS been attacked and mugged in the not-so-distant past because of her weakened condition and inability to defend herself appropriately!. Look at the situation from her perspective--consider her physical weakness, her mental instability, and her resilience she must have to keep going when others would have given up long before she has or will!.
