Am I stupid or has this happened to someone else?!

Question: Am I stupid or has this happened to someone else!?
I was watching Karate Kid part 2 last night, I always watch a film before I go to bed as its the only way I can get to sleep at night!

It used to be my older brother fave film, until he died when I was 3 years old!

I'm usually ok when I watch it but last night I started crying my eyes out when Daniel saved the little girl during the huge storm! I was crying for ages, I don't know why, I just randomly started crying!!?

Has this happened to anyone else!? Or am I just being weired!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You are not being weired!

You are being a sensitive human being!

It reminded you of your brother and perhaps how things would be if he was still with you!.

Just remember him with love! Make a success of your life, and keep your lovely sensitivity!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You were feeling mentally vulnerable when you watched the movie, so therefore you cried, when we cry, its usually for a good reason, also when we cry, we release our pent up emoions and rid ourselves of stressful things and feelings!.You are certainly not weird, you are just an emoptional person, thats good, so dont worry about it anymore!.Yes this has happened to me lots of times in the past!.Its only natural to think of your lost brother, its also good to think about him a lot,So chin up sweatheart, theres nothing wrong with you, your just a nice person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Siberian,

I think you ought to talk to a counselor or therapist about this!. The movie is a trigger for you and the emotions of Daniel risking his life to save the little girl are enough to let all these emotions out!.

So this movie and your brother's death are tied together!. I do not know how long ago that your nrother died, but I dare say this is not getting any better and may get worse over time!.

I do not have anything like the loss of a brother, but I get the same type of thing with the thought of my parents!. I think grief counseling might be of help to you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it happens to many of us who have emotions bottled up inside!. It was good that you were able to cry!. People can let emotions out from a whole lifetime of suppression so feel good that you were able to feel the grief and let it out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
