Answers:
Dreams and nightmares are related to ones mental state in waking hours, so going to bed in an unfit or fearful mood is a bad idea!. To get yourself in a good mood for dreaming, spend between 30 minutes and an hour windning down and relaxing before going to bed!. Listening to some relaxing music or reading a book can help!. A small amount of cheese before bed can help you to relax, but caffeine and tobacco before bed make relaxing much more diificult!. Alcohol before bed may make you sleepy, but too much can disrupt sleep patterns, try hot milk or horlicks, but not too much, a full bladder can cause broken sleep!. Dream captures originated in the Native American culture were said to trap bad dreams, psycologically, a dream capture gives you the oppurtunity to focus your nightmares been protected by an external object!. Many learn to interpret dreams, start a dreams diary, learn to recognise reccuring themes and images in your dreams, in this case you will be able to spot them on later dreams!.

Think on these verses:

Proverbs 3:24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet!.

Jerimiah 31:26 Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me!.

Psalms 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety!.

and the 91st Psalm:

Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty!.

91:2 I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!"

91:3 For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper And from the deadly pestilence!.

91:4 He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark!.

91:5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day;

91:6 Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon!.

91:7 A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand, {But} it shall not approach you!.

91:8 You will only look on with your eyes And see the recompense of the wicked!.

91:9 For you have made the LORD, my refuge, {Even} the Most High, your dwelling place!.

91:10 No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent!.

91:11 For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways!.

91:12 They will bear you up in their hands, That you do not strike your foot against a stone!.

91:13 You will tread upon the lion and cobra, The young lion and the serpent you will trample down!.

91:14 "Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him {securely} on high, because he has known My name!.

91:15 "He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him!.

91:16 "With a long life I will satisfy him And let him see My salvation!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had the same problem!.!.!. super scary!. I would always wake up in my room, and it would be grey and dim, and i would walk over to my bedroom door, and every time i opened it there would be something terrifying!. i won't tell you what, because i don't want to add to your problem, but maybe i can help!. see, after a while i started to know that it was a nightmare because i couldn't feel my feet when i was walking!. so the next time it happened, i started walking to the bedroom door, then noticed that i couldn't feel my feet!. i said, "ok, it's a dream, so i'm gonna go get the scary part over with and then go have fun!." so i opened the door, saw the scary stuff, then turned around and went out the back door!. and it was sunny and birds were singing, and i said, "i can do anything i want, it's a dream!. what should i do!?" i chose to go flying because i could never do that in real life, but if you ever get to this point you could zap yourself to paris, or with your fave celebrity, or really anything you want!. so i jumped over the fence, took a running start, and flew over the neighborhood!. and i haven't had another bad dream since!. i swear, not one!. which kinda sucks because i have been dying to have another lucid dream, ya know a dream where you know its a dream!. i really really wanted to go fly again, and then see justin long!. Stress can cause nightmares as can certain medications!. I would try relaxing several hours before going to bed and perhaps try reading a pleasant book etc!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
