Question: Need advice!!! !!!!!!!!!!
the highlight of my month is getting a flippin hair cut!!! i play by the rules i dont want to make my parents mad or upset but there SO OVER PROTECTIVE!!!! im fed up with my life!!! any sugestions!? i know there just trying to protect me but they cant keep me in a bubble!. i have 2 years till colloge please tell me i wont have to wait that long to be me!.!.!. :(

I grew up with majorly overprotective parents!. I finally sat down with them and had atalk about what steps we could take to help myself and them let me be more independent!. We decided on small, but important things to me to let me do!. Going to a movie with a friend, going to the mall, if I went somewhere there would be frequent phone calls to assure them I was o!.k!. and where I said I was!. There also might be something that happened in their past that might make them more afraid for you!. Talk to them!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
just do something you wouldn't normally do!. sneak out at night!. smoke a joint!. after you're done living it up, either your parents will find out, or they won't!. if they don't, good job! If they do, worst they can do is ground you or something!.
If you don't want to do that, try spending less and less time with them!. Take up an after school sport!. get a job!. walk home from school so it takes extra time, idk!.
