maybe she thinks you have issues because you like such a really really really really really really really really crappy band like the jonas brothers!. you're too old for that little girl bubble gum pop crap!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go back to your doctor and talk about your symptoms or lack thereof!. Be absolutely truthful!. Do you think you don't need medication because your symptoms don't bother you!? Then maybe you don't need medication!. Is it that you feel bad about taking medication!? There are lots of great people who need medication to make their lives better, it's nothing to be ashamed of, and no one will know anyway!. Ask the doctor how long it takes to know if the medication is going to work for you!. Give it more time if necessary!. A different medication might work well for you!. Listen to your doctor!. I can understand your concern about taking lots of medications!. Does your doctor know that it is not working for you!? You may need to up the dose so it is effective!. I take medication for anxiety and let me tell you, when the dose is correct it can make a big difference!. Often depression and anxiety go hand-in-hand (for example, you are so anxious all the time that you can't enjoy life the way you could)!. I must admit, I always thought I was happy until I realized a childhood incident really affected me!. Your mom may see something that you don't!. I'm not saying that for sure, but usually they don't say something like that lightly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take the medication as prescribed as it takes several weeks for your body to adjust I am sure the doctor stated this when he/she prescribed it!. In time the dose may be lowered or raised as needed to achieve the calmness needed!. In some cases when the patient learns how to live with their disorders the meds can be reduced or in some cases eliminated as the young person grows and their body chemistry changes!. 15 is young and a lot of changes are ahead of you!. My nephew was placed on medication for a two year period when he was in the 5th grade!. He is now in high school and is a straight A student has none of the earlier symptoms!. He is healthy happy and likes girls, etc!. He has periodic check ups and so far all is good!.
group therapy also is highly suggested as it helps you to learn how other kids cope with the day to day stresses!. This could be meditation, music therapy hiking or other activities to help retrain your mind no counteract the symptoms!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lots of kids don't need medicine, but unfortunately some parents and most doctors are quick to prescribe anything (and who can blame them!? drug reps are feeding them like kings in order to get them to give out those 'scripts)
talk to your doctor and explain your mom is being hasty!. Tell them you feel that verbal counseling/growing up and learning a bit will help the problem!. Taking a drug will not, and you fear the side effects that you KNOW will come as a result of taking something!. Explain to him or her that you're not willing to sacrifice your personality (because most drugs of that nature will alter it) for your mom's paranoia!.
If you still are forced on to something, do what my friend did and toss it out every morning!.
Or, make some good money and sell it!. Only kidding :) Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree that you're too young for medication!. You're still mentally developing!. Speak to your mother and doctor about this!. Speak to your mother like an adult, don't yell or whine so that she will hear what you're saying and give it actual thought!. I would also speak to her about counseling as an alternative to medication!. Those medicines have nasty side affects, I definitely think counseling is the way to go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Forget the damn drugs!

Also you don't have to do anything you don't want to do!.

Gettin out of the problem starts with beliveing in your self and changein your ways!Www@Answer-Health@Com

if the medicine is not working, then the doctor should be told right away!. he may want to try a different medicine or a different approach like therapy!. tell your doctor!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just tell her it's not working and you don't need it!. Maybe it'll help if she's in a calm mood if you think she'd yell!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
