People who enjoy pain are called masochists!. People who enjoy causing pain to others are called sadists!. I do not think it is considered a disorder unless it is causing other problems!. For instance, if you are inflicting pain on an unwilling person, this is a crime!. But if the sadists and masochists stick together and have agreeable terms as to what they will allow, then it is a relationship!. Sometimes you will hear this shortened to sado-masochism!.
