Depression and hair health?!

Question: Depression and hair health!?
Is this my imagination or is it likely:
I was depressed for almost 5 months!. Just 2 weeks ago the depression broke!. All the while I was depressed, I noticed my hair was less shiny, kinda wiry looking and had alot of breakage!. Just today I realized that my shine is back, it's softer n smooth again, etc!.!. I haven't used any different products on it!. Could it have to do with feeling so great now!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Absolutely!. Extreme stress can affect hair, and the affect sometimes isn't even noticed until after the depression or months later!. I'm glad your feeling better, and notice your hair looking healthier! Extreme stress, or depression, can often result in hair-loss, premature graying, and change in hair texture (a!.k!.a, thinning or loss of shine, smoothness, etc!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stress plays a role in hair health, hair can fall out or get dry/ brittle!. But also when you are depressed, and/or anxious your diet will suffer, meaning you eat poorly, and your hair responds to this!. Many people also neglect their hygiene when depressed and that contributes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Certain nutrition in food can make your hair look better and lack of it can cause depression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
