I should be happy...but i'm not?!

Question: I should be happy!.!.!.but i'm not!?
What the hell is going on with me!?! I've just finished an intensive 5 day snowboard intstuctor course that i've been wanting (and saving up for) for AGES! I just past it and can now begin teaching and earning back the money i spent on the course!

I wasn't in too bad a mood for the whole week but now (when i should be out with the others celebrating) i'm feeling absolutly terrible!.!.!.i just want to cry!.

Why are my moods going so weird!.!.!.this isn't the first time! It's not actually why that i'm concerned about more just how to be like the others!. All i want to do is cry! I always thought this would be one of the happiest moments ever!.

I don't know what i'm doing wrong!.!.!.i eat healthy, exercise, keep busy and do my best to be in a good mood!.

I really just want to somehow change how i'm feeling so i can go out with the others and have a good night!. Any ideas!?

Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because you are self-harming, that leads me to believe there are some deep rooted issues that need to be worked through!.

You may have clinical depression and you are trying everything you know to cope with it, such as harming yourself!.

Depression is a serious illness and it can affect everything in your life; especially the things you love and enjoy (such as snowboarding)

The good news is, it is a very treatable disorder if you reach out and make the decision to help yourself!. Therapy and medication are effective, but you have to be disciplined enough to work through it and not give up!.

You are absolutely not alone, many people struggle with the same things you are!.

Don't feel the need that you "should" be a certain way!.!.!.you are who you are, and by acknowledging how you're feeling, you can work towards your goals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Remember, if it is close to that time of the month hormones are surging through your body and that will create mood swings!. If it is not close to that time, you may still want to see a doctor and have your hormone levels checked!.

Birth control can also have effects on moods!. I went to high school with this girl who got on the pill and all she did was cry!. She would be looking at you laughing and talking and crying!. She had to get a different pill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would suggest seeing a doctor to rule out any physiological cause for this!. Hypothyroidism can mimic depression and cause mood swings, among other things!. Before assuming this is something that you "should" be able to control see if there is something that is wrong that is easily corrected!. If it is not something physiological the doctor can tell you from what you tell him if he thinks it is depression some good ideas for handling the moods -- and if it is depression, remember that depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain which can also be handled with medication as well as exercise (which you already do,) therapy and other coping skills!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
