Question: Has my friend got an illness, if so what!?
My friend is 16 but she's having troubles!.
A very good friend of hers 3 years ago got raped but my friend new the rapist and many horrible nights where he manipulated my friend very well!.!. ever since she hasn't been right!.
She talks about people not being who they actually are and that they are all after her!. Also saying about someone telling her things but she's there trying to help her ( i've never seen this person)
She will also see's a lot of strange things or in this case not see!. she many times ran into walls but she says she didn't see them and that someone is controlling her to do it!.
please help it's getting worse i don't know what to do!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

This immediately sounds like schizophrenia to me, although it could be something else!.
I am schizophrenic and had a really bad phase a couple of years ago!. I was convinced that everyone was plotting against me and that people were trying to take my brother away from me!. Is your friend very paranoid about strange things!? Delusions like this are common to schizophrenia, as is feeling like someone else is in control of you!. If she sees strange things or doesn't see strange things, this could be evidence that she is hallucinating!. The person she talks about who is trying to help her sounds familiar to me, after being convinced that I had a friend who helped me, but noone else could see him!. I then listened to him when he started telling me to hurt myself and became violent to others because I thought he was helping me!.
I think you should get your friend to a doctor, or tell a responsible adult about all these!. They sound like symptoms of schizophrenia, which can quickly turn worse!. You sound like a good friend - please get her the help she needs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First you cant do anything about it!. Its up to her and her family if she has this problem!. Its mental illness and it sound like she might be paranoia schizophrenic!. I know this because my mother has it, and she has all the symptoms!. It starts around the age of sixteen!. She needs to go to her doctor and tell him or her what she has been experiencing!. They will take a blood test to see if there is a chemical in balance in her blood, and then they will take a MRI or Cat scan!. Once they determine if she has it or not, they need to put her on Meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
