Trouble sleeping (serious problem)!

Question: Trouble sleeping (serious problem)
When I was smaller for a while I had night terrors!. They stopped and another problem started!. Sometimes at night I will wake up in the middle of sleeping and I will look around for like 5 or 10 seconds and then my eyes stop on one thing and I can't move them!. Sometimes mild hallucinations occurs like the room going pitch dark except for the spot I am looking at it might glow a certain color or something!. Sometimes I might hear things that most definately aren't there like tribal screams and low roars and growls!. My body becomes fully paralyzed and I can't move a single muscle!. Fighting the state I'm in when this occurs only prolongs the point of relief when my body becomes limp and relaxed!. After this all happens, I feel really really paranoid like I'm not safe anywhere!. In this case I spend my time in my covers staring at the door and looking around the room in fear!.

I want to have less of these nights!. Can anyone out there help me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
This sounds like a really bad symptom of anxiety!. I have a friend that has similar reactions while sleeping!. He feels paralyzed but can sense everything, just not move!. Have you ever had anxiety problems before!? Have you talked to a doctor about this!? It seems like it has something to do with anxiety though!. There are some great anti-anxiety medications out there, maybe you should ask your doctor about your options!. I hope this helps!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
