Overcoming anxiety is no small task!.
It takes practice and a lot of hard work!.

I used to have panic attacks once a week
due to my high anxiety, so I definitely feel
for you!. Fortunately, I can do a lot more
for you than empathize!.

By utilizing the techiques below, I was slowly
able to gain control over my anxiety and stop
my panic attacks from occuring!. If you
exercise these techiques regularly, you too
will see great improvements in anxiety,
tension and stress!.

Breathing:

As the anxiety creeps up, begin to count in
your head!. Count 1,2,3,4 -- 1,2,3,4 -- 1,2,3,4
pausing on the dashes and so on!.

You're not going to actually say or
even think the numbers!. You're going
to breath the numbers!.

Take a deep breath in through your
nose for the 1 and 2!. Then take a
deep breath out through your mouth
for the 3 and 4!. Practice this routine
for a few minutes a day until it
becomes an automated exercise for you!.

Practicing really helps a lot!.
Practice in a controlled environment!.
I used to practice before bed!. When
panic does hit, this self-defense
mechanism kicks in without effort!.

Control Your Thinking:

When you have negative thoughts,
negative things will come into your
life!. Conversely when you have positive
thoughts, positive things will come
into your life!.

That's because thoughts steer the
direction of your life!.

The same holds true in moments of high
anxiety!. It's important during these
times to monitor your thoughts and
make sure you force calming ideas
and images into your head!.

Nothing is really as bad as it seems and ten
years from now,this particularly stressful
situation won't exist - so control your
thinking to avoid your mind from falling
into a negative thought spiral!.

As soon as you have a negative thought,
throw it out of your head and
counterbalance yourself with a
positive or optimistic thought!.

This is a hard one, but after
you monitor your thoughts for
a week or two, you begin to think
more positive in general!.

These two tactics helped me a lot!.

Other helpful ideas are:
- Participat in Therapy
- Talk to someone you trust
- Exercise (cardio works best)
- Yoga
- Stretching
- Reading
- Meditation
- Take a hot shower
- Go for a Walk
- Listen to Music

My wife had many panic attacks when I first met her they were happening several a week!. She could not be confined in an airplane!. She was very much on edge in restaurants!. Bridges and close freeway traffic would make her squirm!.
One day while we were taking a walk after supper she started to become anxious, then scared announcing "here it comes again" as she started to pass out and fall back I threw my cold glass of water on her!. "Oh!" "Why did you do that!?!" but then realized it had stopped the progression of the panic attack!. They became less and less as she discovered more and more it was all in her head where the manifestation grew!.
I never had panic attacks until I married her, then started experiencing them as well!. Although not as frequent or as severe, I still had them!. All the while a Christian Pastor was talking to me about Jesus!. When I asked Jesus into my life and believed on Him and His Resurrection, ALL my anxiety left!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all you need to talk to your doctor about having them!. I do have them and I have to take medication for it!. Alot of the times when they are severe I pray for Jesus to take away the feeling!. I know it feels like your dying in all reality your just having a panic attack!. When you start having one do something to take your mind of it!. Start organizing your desk or your house!. Do something that takes thought and it will take your mind off the attack!.

In my experience I found out panic/anxiety are due to stress!. You might not be stressed now, but something has changed in your life!. Career change, change in location (you moved into another home), your lifestyle in itself has changed!. Sometimes a break-up in a relationship will cause attacks to come about!.
Talk to your local doctor and see if they can help you, I am sure they can put you on medication if they are severe!. Just be careful of what type of medication they are putting you on some a very additive!.

Breathing exercises; if you concentrate on your breathing for about a minute or so you'll find yourself much more relaxed after wards!.
It happened to me in the past (had the feeling I would choke), and the exercises really helped!. Knowing you can't suffocate yourself intentionally (without the use of any external help) also brings some relief perhaps!. In case of hyperventilation you would eventually pass out, and the body will re-regulate your breathing in a normal way; in other words: nothing can really happen!

I stopped taking drugs!. Started putting myself out there with my friends more often!. Started doing a lot more exercise and sports to boost my confidence, then started pursuing women in a more active way!.

Edit:
Panic attacks really root themselves in feeling alone and helpless!. I'm now in a 6 month relationship!. You need to surround yourself in people who will be there no matter what!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Step 1: Ensure your emotion is controlled daily!. Don't over reacted, stay calm and don't get worry easily
Step 2: Think before your action!. Don't repeat her past experience on herself!. Remind herself from time to time!.
Step 3: Be confident to yourselves!. Remember everyone is the winner!. "Only One sperms out of millions fertilize an egg"
Step 4: Get a group of close friends to share your experience and get some activities that would occupied your time
Step 5: Increase scope of life!. Meaning that she should involve in more social activities like dancing, outing and others!.
Step 6: Put a rubberband on the wrist!. If there is a negative thought, Tighten the rubber band and release it!. Hence the effect of the pain would be able to reduce the possibility of negative thought!.

It sounds boring but breathe into a paper bag!. It will help with the breathing, as when you have a panic attack you are taking in too much oxygen, not too lttle!. breathing in carbon dioxide will help this!. Have you thought of seeing a doctor, and asking for valium when you feel this way also!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Firstly , realise the attack wont last for more than 10 minutes!.
then, say to yourself , it is only anxiety, 1 in 4 people can suffer from it at any time!.

Learn to recognize your own onset of thoughts!. I tend to start thinking of unpleasant past events!. As this happens, I tell myself to quit beating myself up, the past is the past!. Have a nice thought to replace it and enjoy good thoughts more than than the old feelings of sadness!.
