I don't think you can get anything over the counter!. That being said, if you feel like you need anti depressants you should probably go see a professional psychiatrist anyway!. Even if it's a financial issue like you can't afford to go, there are usually people who are willing to take on cases for a lower fee!. You don't want to mess with something like depression- not getting it taken care of can ruin your life, and taking drugs when you aren't depressed can give you nasty side effects and hurt you in the long run as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

St!. John's Wort and Kava Kava are two herbal remedies that purportedly work on depression and anxiety for some people!.

I tried both!. Kava Kava did nothing as far as I can tell!. St!. John's Wort gave me extreme stomach aches so I asked my doctor to put me back on Paxil!.

Maybe some people have better results than I did, I really don't know!.
