Answers:
Pretty much they just ask you alot of questions, and you only need to answer them truthfully!.

When I went to see my first counselor I wrote her a list of questions that I had for her, which worked out well for me!.

Dont worry about it, first sessions are easy and just a chance for both of you to get to know one another!.

Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have gone to therapists at several points in my life and the best advice I can give you is two-fold!. Firstly, write down any questions you have, as you might easily steer yourself off track and forget important issues!. Secondly, dont hide anything- be totally honest!. Your therapist isnt there to form opinions of you- no matter how messed up you might think you are, they have seen much much worse, trust me! But until you are totally honest in that room, your simply wasting your time and money!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There's not much you can do to prepare!. Just relax nothing will happen!. They will ask for your family/medical history and they'll ask a lot of questions to try and get an idea on where your coming from!. If you want you can write down a list of questions or things that have been bothering/symptoms to show your psychologist!. That's about it!. The first question they usually ask is, "So what has brought you in today!?" Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The first time you go is normally an intake appointment, where the therapist will ask you all sorts of questions about your health, feelings, family history, why you're there, if you're suicidal/homicidal, etc!.

You might want to bring a list of any medicines you are on, prescription or over the counter, and info on any medical problems and what you are going for treatment for!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

On a first visit many people just ask for a history!. If you know what is bothering you think about it and even take in a note to remind yourself of what you want to talk about!. There might not be time to work on problems until the second visit!. Sometimes there is a great deal of paperwork to fill out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's a simple process, don't worry!.
The ONLY thing you're going to have to do is talk to them,!.!.!.Do NOT lie!.!.!.it's very important that they get to know you and understand your situation!. They're just going to ask some questions, some may be simple, and some may be very personal!.!.!.Just be honest!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hate it, such a waste of time, its none of their business what other people do and think!. Just dont fall for their crap, but they can help, when they are genuine people and not a therapist!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the only thing u can do is stop worrying too much!. just relax and keep ur mind clear from any doubts!. just be cool!. ok!? anyway they're not going to take out ur brain from the skull!. cheer up!Www@Answer-Health@Com
