Mentally speaking does exercise take over your life?!

Question: Mentally speaking does exercise take over your life!?

If I am not working out, I think about how I have to do it the next day and what time I will do it!. It has become a problem with me!. Sometimes I will put off doing things that day or schedule around things because I want to get a workout in!. I want to be rid of this and am praying about this!. I believe it comes from how I feel AFTER I workout, that release of stress, tention!. But I believe God comes first and then my family- and there are times I have put off joining a bible study due to this! Anyways, what do you think!? I just don't believe this is normal, do you!?
(and I only workout 60-90 minutes a day, with one day off during the week, but I am always THINKING about how I need to keep working out and get a workout in, or which workout to do, ugh)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I'm not very energetic!. I try to get a walk every day (about an hour) but as I work and have a home it's not always possible!.
Sounds like you're obsessing a bit!. Step back, get some different activities besides working out!. You could be hooked on the endorphins!. I had a friend who was a cyclist and if she didn't do like 20 miles a day there was no living with her!.
Health is one thing!. Imbalance is another!. We need exercise, yes, but also interaction with others, time for God and the Word, and quiet times doing nothing special!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I understand, I get like this sometimes!. Basically, just try to get on a consistant schedule with it!. For example, if you're more of a morning workout person, plan to get up early enough so that you can fit your work out in, then start the day and you don't have to miss out on anything!. Or, if you'd rather work out in the evening, plan a time that you start each night, that fits around what you are doing for the rest of the day!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unfortunately, my workouts consist of raising the food to my mouth!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and then back down to the plate again!.

How on earth have I maintained this 150lb body for 38 years is beyond me!.

My fingers are getting a good workout now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Many people are addicted to exercising!. It's something that can be in your schedule, but it shouldn't take over your thoughts on a daily basis!. It shouldn't replace other things either!. If you feel that it's starting to become a problem, you can talk to a psychiatrist about it!. That may seem weird, but it's actually very common and doctors specialize in finding out why people think the way they do!. Exercising is an obsession for some people and if that's starting to be the case with you, it might be a good idea to see how you can fix it now before it gets out of control!. Exercising every day isn't an addiction, but thinking about it constantly may be leading to something else!. Doctors can really give advice with problems such as addictions and other conditions!. They can answer any questions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
