Question: What do you find is the best way to naturally cope with stress and anxiety!?
I personally find that exercise helps me most but am wondering what everyone else finds as a good helperWww@Answer-Health@Com

Much discussed subject in the 21st century !!.
Stress comes in many forms and in response to a host of different factors!.Not all stress is bad, in fact in small doses it is considered motivating!. When reacting to stress our bodies produce the hormones adrenaline and cortisol!. These provide us with the ability to respond and move quickly in our daily lives, the flight or fight response!. Long term or chronic stress however, means that the body is over exposed to these hormones and this can lead to increased anxiety, depression and inability to cope , and ultimately, physical illnesses!.
Stress is apparently a common problem for those who lead a very physically active lifestyle!. It may lead to an array of symptoms including headaches, reduced sex drive, loss of appetite, heart palpitations and anxiety!. Studies confirm that long term or chronic stress negatively affects health and manifests itself in diseases like cancer chronic fatigue, depression and high blood pressure!.
There are some simple, but important and effective ways of managing your stress !.
Firstly, eat a balanced and nutritious diet, aim for good quality, adequate sleep and do regular exercises!. Secondly, it is essential to recognize what causes your stress!. Thirdly, it can be very helpful to discuss what is stressing you and why, with someone that you trust!. Relaxation techniques are also very helpful, such as deep breathing and certain aromatherapy oils!. Try lavender, chamomile, geranium to lift your spirit!.
For me works well meditation!. I do meditation twice a day more than 30 years!. It has many other healthy benefits, but relating stress is bold!. And I am sure I am able to cope because in meditation I also imagine how to attack the problrm to better solve, and not to be attacked!.or avoiding to give to someone else the power to control my life!. It is not so easy like I am writing now, but I try and as a result I feel good and in majority of cases I have success!. Sometimes is very hard but then during the meditation { about 30 minutes} I find a way how I get hurt less!.

I was diagnosed with panic disorder when I was in college, and though I've had very few panic attacks in the past few years, I still have plenty of anxiety!. I prefer to avoid pharmaceuticals, so here are some things that have worked for me:

Exercise is definitely #1 for me, too!. I've also found that eating poorly - too much sugar, caffeine, "empty" calories, and other junk - can make my anxiety a lot worse!.

Meditation has helped me a great deal, and yoga has been a sort of "moving meditation" for me for several years!.

I frequently use aromatherapy to help calm my mind (see the article in my sources below)!. Aromatherapy and meditation have been a good combo, too!.

Bach flower remedies, White Chestnut in particular (see sources), also has been very helpful!. I use it before I go to bed, and it seems to keep swirling worries at bay!.

If I'm feeling anxious about something very specific, I often feel a little or a lot better if I can start a specific plan for resolving it!. Having a plan makes me feel less anxious and more in control!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to feel the same way!. Please take this into consideration!. It worked for me, although I am not you!.

I had overwhelming anxiety!. It turned out to be a chemical they put in food called sucralose!. And it is in a lot of stuff!. From fitness water to tomato sauce!.

Sucralose is what Splenda is!. Sadly, the package doesn't have to say Splenda or diet to have sucralose in it!. You have to read labels!.

Sucralose is poison!. It ruined five years of my life!. I had a laundry list of medical problems while taking it, including overwhelming anxiety, depression, mood swings, insomnia, gastrointestinal issues and more!.

Go ahead, google: anxiety splenda or anxiety sucralose or insomnia splenda or insomnia sucralose

The slogan, "Made from sugar!.!.!." is very misleading!. Splenda might be made from sugar, but it is far from sugar!. The resulting chemical is an organochloride (chlorocarbon)!. Organochlorides are typically poisons!.
