Answers:
I do meditation more than 30 years!. In fact I do not know life what is without meditation!. I prefer to lie down on bed , but it is possible sitting comfortable in chair!. There is a passive meditation and an active meditation!. A passive meditation is when you close your eyes and start to breathe slowly and deeply and you focus on breathing only In this mode you get a relaxation and try not thinking of anything {it is hard but try}!. After awhile for example 5 minutes to 30 minutes, open your eyes and that is all!. You did the first meditation!.
An active meditation!. This is altogether another issue!. You begin like above but after a few breaths you begin to imagine a picture of what you want to get!.!. It means that you use the active meditation to realize something!. It can be anything you want or need!. For example, to heal yourself or someone else, to make more money, to loss weight, to get a better job, and so on!. Absolute all, with persistence, of course!.
I hope I helped you a bit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are sooo many websites that will instruct you on this!.
Basically all you need to do is find a quiet comfortable area and simply sit!.!. let everything fade out slowly!.!. realize that everything on the outside world is superficial!.!. take note of it all but let it pass!.
Focus on your breathing above all else!.
When you inhale picture a golden air coming into your body and filling your soul with light and bliss!.!. and when you exhale imagine pulling all the black negative energy out from your body and letting it vanish!.
Do not expect any sudden insights or revelations!.!.in the words of a famous Zen master meditation and enlightenment in general is 'nothing special'!. It is just your true nature!.
