I was on zoloft for a little over a year, and I did not become dependent on the drug!. My doctor decreased my doses slowly to wean me off so it didn't "shock" my body, but after I was completely off the medications, I was fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No, but you have to taper off of it so you do not get a discontinuation syndrome!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
