Try real hard not to let that depressin creep in, Carl!. Times are very tough right now - the economy is horrible and jobs are scarce - I've been out of work since March - and depression is knocking at many doors now, I fear!. This recession is hitting everyone hard!.

A suggestion would be to call High Schools in your area!. Teaching would be great for you - passing on your experience, teaching kids and even adults a trade would be very rewarding!. YOu might even be able to set up a Night School class - I'd check with your local school district if you go that route!. I say go for it, call every HS that is in reasonable proximity to you!. Just please do whatever you can to stay active and not let depression creep in!. And keep in mind, looking for a job is the hardest job you'll ever have, but it'll happen!. Good things always come out of bad situations!. Good luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!.

Any Vocational / Technical High Schools would appreciate your experience and skills!.

If that is difficult to do since the start of the 2008-2009 school year is *now*, call/look-up a few Technical colleges with automotive programs!.

If you get the CA public school position, you will obviously get the the benefit plan with life and health, etc!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try to search for mechanics courses offered by local high schools, colleges and community centres!.

See if there are any mechanical jobs going in other professions, or maybe maintenance jobs or electrical repair type jobs!.

Look to see if you can upskill into a similar profession!.

Dont give up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get the help you need with the depression first of all!. It is natural to be depressed after all you have been through!.

If teaching is an option then go for it, and if you are very experienced, you will find the right job!.

Best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
