Answers:
Aching in your chest is one symptom of anxiety (I have it bad) and so is a racing heartbeat, sweating, nervousness, anxiousness, etc!. You might also get the feeling that you are about to get in major trouble for something, without cause or reason!. These are all symptoms of anxiety!. You may not experience all of them!. And they tend to happen at common times!. My anxiety kicks in when I think about cleaning a big mess in my house!.

Your doctor needs to consider putting you on an antianxiety medication to help control or prevent the symptoms!. Schedule another appointment and ask him/her about this as a solution!.

Some people, who do not favor taking meds, will use biofeedback to control the anxiety symptoms, and others do Yoga or meditate!. You really need to find what suits you best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you have things going on in your life that can be causing any anxiety or recent upsets!? Do you have any other symptoms such as panicky feelings, under-eating or overeating, nausea or general uneasiness in your tummy!?

If there are no other symptoms or potential factors behind anxiety then you might be best seeking another opinion!.

However, if you feel that there are things going on your life that you think could be behind it, such as stress at work, then attempting to make changes in any way that might simplify your life could benefit you!. It might also help to practise deep breathing and relaxation methods, such as meditation, or take up something like Tai Chi!.

I suffered anxiety for some years after a bereavement, and found that by slowing things down and working on changing the thought processes which triggered anxiety, as well as taking up meditation and deep-breathing, I've really conquered it!.

Of course, even if your chest pains were not directly a result of anxiety (you should see another doctor if you are not happy with the diagnosis), doing these things would still help!.

I think the NHS direct site is a good resource, and the Meditation Expert site!.

oh wow, you sound like me haha!. I have the same things, i sometimes even get anxiety attacks if i get too stressed out!. Don't worry though, you're fine! really! I had an ecg done too except i have a heart murmur (very common)!. Anxiety isn't that big of a problem to stress over!. Just don't let your head fill with stuff!. Stay calm and happy it helps! trust me! try not to worry about things too much!. Most of all, deep breaths!. Help alot!. Especially with the chest pain!. Feel it coming on, just take a break from whatever you're doing, thinking, clear your head, stay calm, and take deep breaths!. Yoga also helps! Try it! It's awesome!. And if it was your heart, the chest pains would have probably been alot worse!. Anxiety pain is very minor!. So just relax!. You're okay!Www@Answer-Health@Com
