Insomnia, anyone know any ways to fall asleep easily?!

Question: Insomnia, anyone know any ways to fall asleep easily!?
The question says it all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I have a couple:

1) Don't try to 'fall asleep' just relax in bed thinking how comfy it is etc and see what happens, otherwise I feel the pressure of having to fall asleep, keeps me awake!

2) Imagine the mattress is absorbing your energy and your sinking into it

3) Do exercise in the evening

Other small things I do is not having a clock near me, though I have an alarm clock on my phone, otherwise I keep looking at the time!. Making sure I'm comfortable and the room is as dark as possible!.

Hope this helps xWww@Answer-Health@Com

HI! I have several methods for falling asleep!. The best and least expensive is to learn how to do deep breathing exercises- this does take some time to learn but in the end it works the best!. One other way is to use Valerian Root prior to going to bed!. If that is not strong enough , you may use Melatonin( you can get Melatonin at the grocery store) !. The last 2 are both homeopathic ways of falling asleep and are non addictive!. Also, instead of just trying to go right to sleep, take some time to relax before trying to sleep- read a little something or listen to some slow music!. I wish you the best in your effort to get some sleep!. Peace out!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you want to try a natural supplement, I recommend Valerian Root!. It would be in the vitamin and supplement section of the pharmacy!. I find that it works well and doesn't leave you feeling hung over in the morning!.

I suffered from insomnia so horribly that even prescription anti-psychotic medication couldn't make me fall asleep, but Valerian worked like a charm!

If possible, try to get the gelcaps!. Valerian smells like dirty socks (literally) and it will be easier to take than regular caplets or tablets!.

Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I guess it depends on what is keeping you up!? Racing thoughts, worry!? I first started having trouble sleeping when I was about 8!. I am now 30 and I'm just finally figuring out how to sleep better!. The only thing that has helped me is to not worry about not sleeping!. That was my biggest problem, I used to worry that I wouldn't sleep, and of course all the worry would keep me up even longer!. I also remember being 8 years old and thinking I was the only one not sleeping!. That feeling made it worse too!. So I just try not to dwell on it, and I learned when I worked at a Dr!.s office that some patients sometimes can't sleep for DAYS at a time, my problem was nothing compared to them!. For me knowing that I wasn't the only one with this problem helped too!. Now it took me 21 years to learn this!. Even now I still have some nights where I don't sleep well!. It sucks, but if you put it into perspective and realize there are much worse things to be going through, the sleeping thing isn't so bad!. Don't know if this'll work for you, but it's my experience with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to wind down your day about 30 minutes before your bedtime!. That includes, according to the experts, getting off the net and turning off the TV!. While not mentally challenging to you, these activities they do keep you more alert than just simple relaxation!. Then go to bed without TV or radio company!. Lights off!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
