Question: Ok, i have very Bad OCD and depression and cant sleep at night!?
Which my Doc Prescribed me Lustral (Sertraline) 200mg a day and 50mg of Seraquel for sleep!.She has since taking me of the seraquel because she didnt want me taking it for longer than a year so i had to order Sleeping tabs on the net 10mg of Ambien(Z-drug) which my OCD was so strong didnt even make me tired!!! So i took 30mg(3 times the prescribed amount to work!!!) which eventually made me sleep!.!.Just About!!! it look like ill have to go back to her and ask her for a minor/major Tranquillizer for going to sleep as the aforementioned "Sleep sedatives" are not cutting the mustard!.My Ocd seems to keep my brain working so strong that i need something to cut out my brain alltogether!?!?!? ANY ADVICE PLEASEWww@Answer-Health@Com

I myself suffered from SEVERE OCD!. It was terrible to the extent that I would physically harm myself in order to complete rituals!. I was put on fluoxetine by my psychiatrist, but stopped taking it after a month because I felt it wasn't helping!. (Don't do that, by the way!. Stick to what your doctors ask you to do)!.
First things first, NEVER order drugs off the internet!. A majority of online pharmacies are NOT approved by the FDA, let alone the U!.S!. government!. There is no telling WHERE the drugs are being imported/made!. Such online pharmacies are notorious for their fancy logos and official facades!.
One thing I noticed about OCD is that there is an underlying core reason behind the obsessions and compulsions!. Your need to stay clean, perform rituals, or "make things right" stem from some underlying sense of insecurity that needs to be protected against!. What you need to realize is that whether you perform your rituals or not, the core issue will continue to exist, and it will grow/weaken at its own pace!. The only solution is to tackle the core issue itself!.
Don't think of it as giving in!. Think of it as refusing to accept the reality that your brain has INVENTED!. The world cannot function the way you picture it!. You need to function with the way the world is!.
I can't say much, because I have no clue what TYPE of OCD you suffer from and what it is that triggers your obsessions and compulsions!. But you need to face the core issue!. You need to get that figured out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Speak to your doc, but try these:
1!. Distraction - find things to focus on, reading / studying for example!.
2!. Relaxation - do yoga or breathing exercises (a 6 second in, 6 out cycle)!.
3!. Exercise - until you are physically tired!.
4!. Let your body cool before you get in to bed!.
5!. Keep a window open!.
6!. Try classical music, it's positive and relaxing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
