OMG I NEED TO quit MY FIRST JOB NOW!! NOW!! NOW!?!

Question: OMG I NEED TO quit MY FIRST JOB NOW!! NOW!! NOW!!?
ok so I worked as a dishwasher in a restaurant 3 days ago, I worked for 7 hours, and Im supposed to be part time, I was soo tired and I wanted to quit after that day but I thought I would stick with it!. I worked yesterday for 5 hours and I thought It was a very boring and underpaid job but I thought I would live with it

, I worked today and this time BY MYSELF for the last 3 hours until it closed!. When it closes you have to CLEAN a lot of things, the cooks and waiters starting to put all the things that needed to be washed and it started to pile up, I could do it but it would take long, so some guy started to help me, he helped me get everything done then I had to do more

!. take apart the dishwasher clean it and lift 2 heavy cooking drawers and clean them, you need to clean all the rugs which are heavy, I need to make sure everything is cleaned!. IT TOOK ME LIKE 1 HOUR OVER TIME, everyone was went home!. Then the manager came and told me that I was almost done, she told me to throw out the garbage and my mom was WAITING like since 11:15, she could be home at 11:20 but she waits for me at work everytime until im finished which is RANDOM after 11:30pm!. So I had almost NO STRENGTH to lift the garbage, I tried using my leg to lift it up and I still couldnt do it, I stood on some wooden thing and I had to use my leg and all my strength to get it up half way until I managed to get the edge of it on the top of the garbage dumpster, then it took me like 2 mintutes, i almost fell down cause i was standing on 1 foot and my shoes were wet, im not even gonna go into the rest

so ALL THIS ON MY 3RD DAY HARDLY NO TRAINING AT ALL, how do I quit, im supposed to work tomorrow and I forgot to check what time I work!. I hurt my back and my ankle too they hurt a lot!. I heard that the dishes will be x3 than what they were today, so should I phone tomorrow and say I cant make it in and I quit, or should I try to go tomorrow!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

props to you!. i probably couldn't handle a day but if you want to quit or not that's on you!. if you can get a better easier job with better pay than go for that obviously ;) !.!.!.!.just call up and tell them you're done!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Work is hard but in due time you get used to it!. I know it sounds really awful but its the truth!. One thing you should know when you get your pay check its one thing you can be proud because you truely worked for it!. Plus you will have muscles and in like 2 months this will be nothing!. Dude, That's so my job!.

Break a dish so it's all loud and be like "PEACE B***HES!"

I'm planning on asking for a lot of hours one week and then just not show up =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

find something else first no one will hire a quitter but be aware life is not as easy and laid back as school and people do this work every day to earn a living so have you really given it a fair go Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just go there anytime and talk to the manager and tell him you quit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it depends!. if you value the staff quit the right way and give them notice with a resignation letter or else just ring up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay so quitWww@Answer-Health@Com

quit!Www@Answer-Health@Com

just dont turn up!. lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well firstly, don't do more hours then you're paid to do, if you're on for 4 hours, work 4 and leave, if it's not all done, then it'll be there in the morning!. Tell the boss that it's taking longer then the time allowed and see if that changes things!.

Sounds like as a cleaner and general dogsbody, you might just be taking to long to do it though!. When it's time to scrape plates, invest in a pair of rubber gloves and use your hand, don't bother piddling around with a fork or whatever, just get to it!. I did it for a while when I was a lot younger, I just used my hand to clean them off, you need to get them done and gone!.

As for lifting things, if it's to heavy for you when it's full, get in to the habit of emptying it when it's half full, then it won't be a problem again!.

You have to stick with it!. My current job, when I first started there I thought I had made a dreadful mistake!. My previous job was friendly and calm and happy, we sat and talked, my boss regularly bought us in MacDonalds breakfast or would send one of us on a food run to fetch it, and we had the radio on!.!.!.!.next job was work from the moment we walked in until we left, but I've been there 5 years now and it just feels like an ordinary day at work!.

While it sucks to have to work hard, working hard is par for the course, you just have to bite the bullet and get on with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to grow up and face reality; having a job and making money is hard work!. Just because you're tired, or too sore (or any of the other retarded excuses you've said) doesn't mean that you should just give up!. If, say, Christopher Columbus decided to turn around and go home because he suddenly realized that he could be gone for a few years, or get lost at sea or something, then what would life be like now!? The point is that he DIDN'T turn around; he kept going!. And the rest is history!.
You won't get anywhere in life if you continuously give up because it's too hard!. Life's too hard!. Are you going to give up on it next!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would go into to the restaurant and complain to your boss about the working conditions!. You should threaten to quit unless your working conditions are met!. Do not just call in and quit, you should at least voice your complaints, so the managers/boss can have an idea of your problems!.

I suggest that you go in to work tomorrow and do your shift, keep your job until you can find another one to replace it!. Meanwhile start looking for another job where there is less physical work to do so that you dont get so stressed out about it!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
