How do i calm my self down when im mad.?!


Question: How do i calm my self down when im mad!.!?
i have problems with yelling and screaming at people and getting angry have any ideas how i can calm my self down fast!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK- Screw counting to 10!. lol!. That **** is dumb!. But what it does is give you time to think things over because instead of reacting you are concentrating on counting!.

So the real method is: time!. If you are an angry person, you're going to get angry!. Just instead of yelling and screaming learn to take thing internally that way you don't say something you'll regret later!. If you HAVE to say something, do it later!. That way you have time to evalutate your situation and can communicate in an effective way!. When you yell at people you're not getting your point across it just makes them think you are animalistic and ignorant!.

There are lots of anger management methods- I suggest you go online and learn about some!. You can learn how to manage your anger and WHY you get so angry in the first place!.

Common problem, Matt!. Good on you for trying to rectify the situation!.

When you feel anger coming on, leave the house (obviously if you're at work you can't do this and you wouldn't last long as I doubt many bosses would put up with that) and go for a long, long walk!. Walk fast and go as far as you need to to clear your head!. Pound that pavement!

When you come back, you will have cooled down and, most likely, anyone else involved would have lightened up a bit, too!.

Just stop and breath all the way and exhale slowly!. If the other person is yelling ask them to stop because that will only make it worse!. Sometimes its just counting to 10/taking a break to think about things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

talk to yourself
do some type of physical activity
