Question: Am I wrong for telling him that he's depressing!?
My boyfriend suffers from manic depression!. I knew this when we got together, but I didn't realize the extremity of the condition!. I voiced to him last night that he made negative comments way too often, to things that aren't even relevant (ie: tv shows, a song on the radio, or a random person at the grocery store) everything! I'm telling you, NOTHING nice ever comes out of his mouth!. Anyway, I think I really hurt his feelings!. I felt like I had to tell him, because he's starting to wear me down where I feel like I'm depressed & miserable too! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep the communication going!. You also have feelings!. If he cannot accept what you told him, things are not going to be very pleasant!.
It is difficult to be around someone that is so negative!. If he is getting therapy, he should work on this!. If he is not in therapy, maybe you could suggest he see someone!.

See a counselor (therapist) or even shrink with him!. I knew how you feel!. Your BF acted like exactly like my hubby but after going to my shrink!.!.!.he is back to his old self!. He told shrink that he was feeling tons of tension from life!. My hubby used to be a nice, calm, and forgiving kinda guy but suddenly has tantrum, swears, yells at everyone in the car, tailgate people!.!.!.etc!. After realizing the problem, he knows how to change, how to relax and how to face difficulties in life!. Now, a very gentle and nice hubby like he was before!. Seek help with your B!.F!.
