Why do i feel sick around people who drink alcohol,even though i dont myself?!

I have the same problem, its like I physically can't swallow alcohol!. I got drunk a few times as a teen and was sick and ever since hardly ever drink!. I think its a psychological association - like if you are ill after eating something then that food makes you feel sick so you associate alcohol with people puking!.
I find it hard to socialise as it just seems to involve going out and drinking as much as poosible, but if you're happy not drinking then thats good!. I'm happy without and you'll save money and your health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that what happened in the past, (your experience with your dad being an alchoholic) has left you with bad memories and you need to realize that not everyone that drinks alcohol is an alcoholic!. :) or maby its knowing that people get sick after drinking too much alcohol!? There is a possibility that you were born with an aversion to alcohol!. Count yourself lucky!. There are people who can socialize without drinking!. Do you really want to deal with a drunk girl friend!? I was a drinker for many years!. What sobered me up was the birth of my daughter while I was off the coast of Beirut Lebanon in 1983!.
