Answers:
I went through the same experience as you!. Mine was the result of mental illness so I'll tell you a little bit about that!.

Let me explain some theories related to the causes of mental illness!. It is believed that you are predisposed to a mental illness!. A combination of bad genes creates a brain which has the potential to change it's structure resulting in a mental illness!. Your brain is at least normal enough that you're not born with the mental illness, though it's my guess from personal experience/observations that even if you haven't developed a mental illness, you'll act differently!. Research has shown schizophrenic people are way more likely to have substance abuse problems before they even became schizophrenic, for example!. It is possible to be born with a messed-up brain, but it's call autism(or something similar) in that case!.

In case you were wondering how your brain can change it's structure, I'll explain!. The tendency of the brain to change it's structure is called neuroplasticity!. Basically your brain is way more complex than your DNA so DNA does not determine the entire structure of your brain, only the outline!. It is believed that environmental factors can cause an otherwise normal person to develop a mental illness if they were predisposed to it!.

There is a theory that something called methylation of DNA can cause your brain to change it's structure!. Basically something changes in your DNA and your brain structure changes as a result!. You can look that up if you want to!.

What I'm trying to get at is that your brain might have changed and mental illness could have caused it!. That's basically what happened to me!. When I developed bipolar disorder I lost my memory with it!. The longer I went without treating it, the worse it got!. After five years it was really bad!. I used to have an amazing memory, now it's horrible!. One of the things I've come across in my research of bipolar disorder are brain scans showing decreased volumes in parts of the brain that affect memory!. So there you go!.

You may not have developed a mental illness, but something as severe as what you're experiencing should at least be examined!. If you HAVE developed a mental illness then you need to treat it before it gets worse!. It could be something as simple as good ol' ADHD--you can develop that when older as well!. Hopefully, it's not worse than that!. Really, that's what it sounds like you have to me, but medications will make it better!. Unfortunately, the odds of it going away when you reach adulthood are only about 40%, but that's better than nothing!. Bipolar disorder has 0% chance of going away!. Just go see a psychologist and take some tests!. You may not have a mental illness, and I hope you don't!. You may just need to make some changes in your life!. Best of luck to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem but its because I drink so much!. If you are not drinking or doing any drugs then I suggest you see a doctor!. There are also brain games you can use that are sposed to help your memory!. I dont know how well those work, I have never tried!.

I had the same problem in school!. I would get bored out of my mind!. The trick is to study a subject you really love like ww2 or vampires or something and try to incorporate that into your school work!. Essays, speeches, book reports etc!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
