Answers:
Long term use of benzodiazepine is more than 4 months!. There are no long term complications from benzo use, unless you're a pre-existing drug addict - then benzo use is a no no!. 1mg a day isn't really a lot of clonazepam at all to be honest!.

The main complication with benzos is that people take them so regularly, and experience so few problems with them that they end up in a situation where they've forgotten their pills and don't think of it - hospital visits, vacations and things!.

There was one study a professor who now works at my university was part of!. There's something like 5 million people in America who have been taking benzos either daily, or long term for over ten years!. Without complication, without addiction, and without problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

According to the manufacturer: "There is no body of evidence available to answer the question of how long the patient treated with clonazepam should remain on it!. Therefore, the physician who elects to use Klonopin for extended periods should periodically reevaluate the long-term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient!." Rather vague, isn't it!. I take it, too, but only for 2 months so far!.

I used it, as needed up to 3 times a day every day for almost 2 years, and don't take it anymore- not because I don't want to but don't have insurance anymore!. I didn't notice any change negatively, there were definitely no "withdraw" symptoms!. It was the only thing that actually helped my anxiety!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
