Tell the doctor immediately if you notice worsening depression/other psychiatric conditions, unusual behavior changes (including possible suicidal thoughts/attempts), or other mental/mood changes (including new/worsening anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, irritability, hostile/angry feelings, impulsive actions, severe restlessness, very rapid speech)!. Be especially watchful for these symptoms when a new antidepressant is started or when the dose is changed!.

Above shows the side effects of Zoloft!. If you are having problems after 8 weeks you should talk to your doctor, you may need to change anti-depressants!.

They all have side effects you just have to find the one that is right for you and this one may not be it!. Talk to your doctor!.

You should really discuss that with the doctor who prescribed it for you!. I'm surprised you haven't had any follow up visits or discussions with him/her since you started Zoloft 8 weeks ago!. It's probably OK and it just will take more time for your body to get used to it before the side effects go away but I'd check with your doctor to make sure!. If you don't want to call your doctor, call your drug store/pharmacy where you got the prescription filled!. Ask to speak to the pharmacist and ask him or her if this is normal for a 13 year old!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
