Pulling my hair, OCD or Anxiety disorder?!

Question: Pulling my hair, OCD or Anxiety disorder!?
Ok well!.!.!.I tend to rat my hair, like tie it in small knots over and over again, so bad that I have to actually cut it off with scissors or just pull it out piece by piece!. I don't even know I'm doing it until after I'm done!. Like i subconciously do it, all the time!. At school, watching T!.V, on the computer, whatever!. But what freaks me out is that I was dreaming last night about my grandpa, (he passed away almost 6 months ago) and I woke up crying, and I was tieing knots in my hair while I was sleeping, like i was stressing over it!.!.!.or Something!. I know this probably sounds really strange, I mean tieing knots in your hair IS NOT normal, but do you think it could be anxiety disorder or obssesive compulsive disorder!? I already suffer from depression, I self injure (cut and burn myself) and I'm being treated for that as well!.
What do you think it could be!?
Only serious answers!. Thanks in advace!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It may be trichotillomania, a nervous disorder that causes compulsive hair-pulling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be trichotillomania, the uncontrollable urge to pull out your own hair!. Most people with this will do it subconsciously, like while reading or watching television!.

Either that, or OCD, most likely!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It might be trichotillomania!. If you're already seeing a therapist, you should tell him or her about the hair pulling!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
