Question: Working over stressed mom on prescription valium!?
I am really over stressed i have four children, a boyfriend that i've been with for six years and he's not ready to get married yet!. I work third shift and have severe anxiety some times from the amount of work it takes to work a full time job and take care of a family of six!. Is there any one out there that understands my pain!. Sure, I understand - you chronically over-commit yourself!. Nobody can take on all that responsibility and not buckle under the strain!.

If you really want to change your situation you need to start asserting yourself, getting your bf to share the responsibility fairly, getting your kids to take on household responsibilities, and carving out a set time each week for yourself!.

My mother had five kids, was married and held down a job!. What she used to do was get us kids to do chores like cooking dinner, washing clothes, ironing, mowing the lawn, cleaning the house, mopping the floor, dusting, washing dishes, polishing silver, etc!. This meant that when she got home at night all she needed to do most times was just relax!. I was nine when I started doing the chores!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
