Tomorrow, I have an appt about my meds!. I'm currently taking: wellbutrin (anti-depressant), paxil (for anxiety) & enpresse (birth control for irregular periods)!.
Well, the birth control has caused me to gain 10 llbs!. & counting!. I just started my second pack!.
I'm extemely sleepy & unmotivated!. I feel sad at times but not like w/o any meds!. My anxiety has calmed down a lot; I was driving myself crazy!. I also have a mild case of OCD!.
My 1st period on bc was nice!. There was a lot less pain & a lighter period!. The weight gain is a problem however b/c that's 10 lbs!. in a month with me walking for excercise!.
I'm a 21 y/o old female!.
I also have acne!.
What about Yasmin(!?) or something else what about my mental meds!? Thanks!

I got on Depo Provera!. A vaccine every 3 months, no periods at all and no PMS! Some people dont find it that flawless, but it worked great for me!.
I am also on Selexa (sp!?) which my doc looked up when I needed an antidepressant cause I said if it makes me gain weight that would be counterproductive!.!.!. it said in his book that it is 50-50 to have an impact on appetite, may increase or decrease!. I took a chance, and have LOST 30 lbs over a year!.

The meds are based on mineral salts which cause you to retain water and therefore gain weight!. Larger boobs are just one of the places the weight goes, but it really goes everywhere else, too!. Glad the Paxil is helping, but there is no pill to cure you!. The pill can help you cope for awhile until you learn to manage your life better!. You need to first get an exercise discipline!.
