Question: For people who take Amitriptyline or know about it!?
I am prescribed 10-20mg at night for sleep but last night I accidently took 30mg and today I'm tired, foggy and just not with it!. Will this effect wear off!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it will eventually!. You might have a "hangover" for a couple of days!. This type of medicine builds in your system over time!. It doesn't just help you sleep, correct!? It carries over into the next day, that's why you take it every day!. if you lower your dosage , eventually it's effects will wear off!. Please be sure to use this medication as your doctor has prescribed!. Some meds you need to be weaned off ifyouu stop taking it!. I would just continue with the usual dosage and go on with your life!. You'll be ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes it will wear off!. It may take 24-36 hours, but it will wear off!. If you can just relax today and drink a lot of water and cranberry juice to flush it out of your system!.
