It is hard to over come an eating disorder!. But know that you're not alone!. I was diagnosed at 14, and have relapsed and recovered three times now ( currently 22)!. The scary thing is it only takes one small slip to go falling backwards!. I would recommend a partial hospitalization program if there is one available in your area!. Most Eating Disorder clinics provide this service, and most are based around the idea that you need to find stability in eating and have the therapeutic part together at the same time for the best results!. I recently started a yahoo group to support any one struggling with an ED, if your interested in joining the link is below!. I would love to help anyone struggling in any way I can!.

Hey i am where you are, i was dx'd with anorexia in 6th grade, went into recovery until freshman yr of high school, then right after high school graduation i started throwing up which lead to dx'd with bulimia!. i 've read alot of good books, some theories are that eating disorders have a genetic cause which combined with our environment and culture, will come into play!. due to being genetic, it's innate!.!.thats why it's so hard to recover from!.!.that and it's an addiction of course!. some people see it in black and white!.!.!.ONE bad day of eating RUINS everything!.!.ONE mistake and we might as well go nuts (pun:)
seriously a form of therapy called Rational Emotive Behavioral therapy is really good to change that way of thinking!.
once you can believe that one binge doesn't have to lead to throwing up or doing it the whole day, then you can overcome!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What has the therapist said!?

Look, it's important for you to talk to someone!. When you're deep in such disorder, you need to look for help, because going through this thing alone shouldn't even be an option!.

Try talking to your parents, friends, anyone that could help you, at least by not feeling alone in this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
