Question: Doe Oxycontin cause people to have types of EXTREME hallucinations and/or paranoia times!?
My dad recently hung him self and he was HEAVILY medicated on Oxycontin!.!.!. I don't know that much about the drug and was wondering if this could have been some thing that lead him up to suicide!. Maybe this was the only way that he knew how to get away from the demons, as well as the other things/ people that he thought were "after" him!.!.!.!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Uhhh Ya! EXTREME!. especially when you go off of it during withdrawal!. Three years ago!.!.!.I was on a heavy dose of oxy twice a day for 9 months!.!.!.!.and a really strong dose of Zanex the same time!. But the list doesnt stop there!. I thought I could do it at home, then I came down with pneumonia during the first day of going off of em!. Three days later!.!.!.and I have no idea how I made it three days!.!.!.my wife took me to the hospital!.!.!.where I stayed for 2 1/2 weeks!. The hallucinations I went thru could fill a book!.!.!.it fact!.!.!.it did fill a book!. We wrote most of them down that we could remember and talk about them from time to time!. As I look back now, I know that the things I experienced weren't real, but even to this day I can remember explicitly some of the things that I experienced during that period, and many of them, seems strange to say!.!.!.I remember them fondly!. ie: I found a lost book of the bible written in ancient German and read it to her, even though I didn't understand most all of the words!.!.!.written in the freckles of my wife's legs!. another was a hyjacked plane that left europe with 302 people on board!. 167 of them were female, and had been stabbed and killed in air!.!.!.the plane was going to get to the USA in about 8 hours and it was going to crash into the roof of the hospital where I was staying!. Another!.!.!.an AfroAmerican drug dealer had kidnapped a person!.!.!.don't know anything about the person!.!.!.but he had stuck him inside the nightstand next to the hospital bed!. I snuck out of my room (twice) because they took my wrench and screwdriver away from me the first time!.!.!.and went down to the boilerroom!? to get a couple of tools!.!.!.brought them back to my room and sat on the floor and took the table apart because the guy on the inside was still alive!.!.!.!.but not for long!. I have pages and pages of the extreme hallucinations I went thru, most all of them paranoic!. But, after a month or so!.!.!.!.all was well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Eh it might!. I'm not sure what my friend was on but it was either Oxycontin or Vicodin but she was a little out of it and thought someone was stealing her food(I'm not trying to be funny, she really thought that) so she tried to hide it!. It's possible, since people can react differently, but I personally didn't experience anything on vicodin!. He may have seen things, but I'm no doctor so I can't say for sure!. yeah actually oxycontin is known for doing that!. I know people on it/ did it and it takes you to another world if you take enough!. It's sad but thats one of the reasons its gettin to be so popular, people i know died from it because they thought they could fly and jumped out of buildings and water towers!. It could have also been the whole 'running out' thing, people are known to do extreme things like suicide when they're out of the med!.s they're on!. im sorry about your father but i hope that answered the med!. questionWww@Answer-Health@Com
i was addicted to ocs for 2 years!.it is a struggle still not to want them!.i have never experienced what you say your father had but i can tell you that when you are addicted your body goes through severe withdrawls that includes sweating ,chills,yawning,sneezing constantly,tremors ,fidgiting and pain in your body!.it is awful and i think he killed himself from the withdrawls and not having the drug,it takes over your body and does not go away!.i have felt sucidal on it and off!.this drug is something that should never be messed with!.i am truly sorry for your loss!.dont ever try it!.once you do your hooked for life!. trust me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
