it's difficult when your dreams for yourself are the same as your parents dreams for you!. You need to sit down and discuss this with them honestly, but not when you are angry!. Since you are not yet 18, you can't move out or honestly refuse to do as they say!. You can talk to them about what your dreams are, even if that's to explore other options so you can begin to find your dream!. Don't go into this discussion with the object of quitting the current activity immediately!.
In fact, I recommend you tell them you are going to go to the next competition with your best effort, to make them proud of you!.They now understand your dreams lie in another direction, so you are doing your best, just to earn their respect!. You may have to continue like this, without complaint, for a while!. You will have changed the relationship between you in ways you may not understand for years to come!. But it will be worth it for all of you!.
And, it might just be that your parents will have the time to think again about this!. They will realize you are not able to pursue other opportunities while you are following their dream, and let you end the activity you don't care for to search for the ones that you do want to explore!. They might just think that your mission in life lies in other directions than they thought!.
