Boyfriend has been prescribed suboxone?!
Question: Boyfriend has been prescribed suboxone!?
He is on parole, he says he has been clean for 3-4 years, his parole officer has ordered him to take suboxone!. He took it once and became violently ill!. I asked why he would have to take suboxone if he'd been clean so long, and he said that it's part of the counties drug program and he was considered a good candidate, b/c of his past drug use!. Does that make any sense!? Don't they only give you suboxone when you are first coming off the opiates!? Please give as much info as possible, as I know nothing about this kinda stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Suboxone is a substance that is utilized to manage the withdrawals from opiates so that a person can begin and maintain sobriety!. It also blocks the "high" from opiate use!. If I were you, I wouldn't be too comfortable with his claim that he has been clean for 3-4 years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
