Answers:
I have never been in your shoes as far as cutting goes, but I have lost a job before!. The thing to remember is that you aren't required to list the job you got fired at, unless you feel that the duties of that job are important to list!. If you have worked at a place 3 months or less, it isn't deceptive to avoid listing a job that can present you in a negative light!. Just remember though that you will need to account for that period of time on your resume or application, even if you say you took some personal time off to improve your job skills or devote to personal issues!. If you do want to list your last job, that doesn't automatically put you in a bad light because future employers don't usually check up on your past job history until you have interviewed with them and they are considering hiring you!. It is too time-consuming to check up on every job candidate before they are ready to hire someone!.

If you didn't work at your last job very long and your experience from that job isn't necessary to list, then I wouldn't list that job!. A job that isn't listed won't be checked up on!. Be careful though!. While it isn't required to list every single job, especially short-term ones, deliberately hiding past employment history can backfire and can get you fired if a new employer finds out about the past job (i!.e!., you accidentally say something about it in your new job) and learns you were fired and failed to disclose it!. Then again, they might not care, once you have been there long enough to show them what a valuable employee you are!. If you end up listing the job you were fired from, that isn't necessarily a bad thing!. If they ask during the interview if you have ever been fired from a job, you can say with complete honesty that you have, and THEN say what you have learned from that experience so that the prospective employer will feel assured that whatever got you fired in your last job is something you have overcome and will not be a problem in your new job (say something positive - don't bash the past employer)!. Above all, whenever you talk about a past employer, even one you may have hated working for, remain as positive as you can, without bashing yourself or your past employer!. Tell what you have learned and show that you do not bad-mouth your employer!. New employers want to know they will be hiring someone who is loyal and has the company's best interests at heart and who won't bash the company when the employee is no longer working there!.

As for the cutting, depending upon where the cutting is taking place, you can wear long sleeves (or pants instead of shorts) to cover up any arm or leg scars or seek recommendations from the clerk at your local department store's makeup counter to cover up facial scars!. If the cuts are on your hands, you could try a bandaid, but people will only avoid questioning a bandaid if they don't see it on a person all the time!.

As for the anxiety, I would see your doctor if you have one!. I have had a lot of personal stress lately and have seen my own doctor to help me deal with it!. I experienced a panic attack of sorts one weekend and knew I needed help coping with my increasing anxiety!. My doctor gave me a prescription of Xanax to help me calm down when I was feeling anxious and she didn't allow any refills on the prescription so that I wouldn't become addicted (I don't overuse pills anyway)!. She told me that if after the pills were gone I still felt anxious, she would prescribe an anti-depressant for me (I have been on them once before for a few months to help me through a rough patch and they worked wonders)!. I took the Xanax only as needed to help me get through my stressful situations I was experiencing at that time and once I felt calm, I was able to change my approach to things and teach myself how to handle my stressful situations differently!. I no longer need to take anything!. A doctor might recommend counseling if you are cutting yourself, because clearly that says you are dealing with whatever is happening in your life in a way that isn't healthy for you!. The good news is that there is help out there and you will be totally amazed at how good it feels to feel yourself again with something as simple as a little tiny pill given to you under your doctor's care!. If you don't have a doctor or can't afford one, Social Services can help connect you with medical care which applies to your personal situation or you can look up clinics in your area to see if they offer free or reduced medical care!. Also, in many cities, some hospitals will offer medical care for free or reduced fees if a person can show they can't afford to pay!. At my doctor's office, they offer a 40% discount if you are a cash paying patient!.

Whatever you have to do, it's worth it so that you can get back on your feet again and feeling good about yourself, and be able to confidently attack the job trail so that you can find work again!. I was unemployed for awhile myself, over a year ago, and it is hard to be out looking for work!. In the meantime, I would consider temp agencies (that don't charge you a fee) because you can try out a temporary job assignment and are free to decline those assignments that doWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am so sorry that you are struggling with this!. It is a hard thing to overcome!. I wuld reccomend applying for a job that doesn't involve a lot of people!. I know that places liek walmart target and walgreens need people to load and unload shipments, that involves no customer service, and you get paid fairly well!. I hope that you are able to find a job, and overcome your anxiety!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I suggest something that involves very little contact with people like stocking and unloading items!. But please stop cutting, I used to do it and it becomes addictive, and thats all i thought about so please stop before something bad happens!. I know it can be rough but I know you can do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
