How to get over sexual abuse from the past?!
Question: How to get over sexual abuse from the past!?
It has been four years since this happened and it happened for three years!. I forgot alot of stuff by doing mood altering things such as drinking and cutting to take my mind off of it, now I'm having flashbacks and remembering more!. How do I not let this effect me as bad and not go back to old habits!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best I can suggest is seeing a social worker I see mine for therapy and she is great I got mine free from a local church!.
I too was sexually abused with violence and I can tell you the memories never disappear but they are at bay while I continue to get help!. I was told the memories are good to have they are there to help you heal !.
