So I don't want to tell my parents and I don't want to call a hotline because they can track you down I think!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't say your age, only that you are a minor -- that could be anywhere from 13 (or younger, we have 11 year olds on answers) to 17 and in college!. That's a pretty big range as far as maturity and what one can do!.!.!.if you are 17 -- and in college, go to the campus mental health center -- no issues!.

Since you are asking here, I assume you are younger -- so the issue becomes, how do you get help and pay for it without telling your folks!. First, I think your folks would want to know and help you, but then I don't know your family, so I guess I shouldn't presume anything!. I think the age that one can consent for treatment varies by state, so I would suggest you talk to your school's guidance counselor and ask him/her for some help!. They can probably tell you if you can indeed consent for treatment without your folks and if so point you toward a local community mental health treatment center where you can get treatment on a sliding scale payment basis -- based on your own income -- not that of your folks!. Be prepared for the guidance counselor to try and talk you into telling your folks, as well!. It is part of his/her job description!.!.!.!.

Good luck!.!.!.and consider talking to the folks, their insurance would probably cover the therapy and/or medications you might get!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hate to tell you this but sometimes telling parents won't help!.

After experience, telling my mom about my depression, she did say she would help me!. When she came back from another country, she became less and less interested!. I guess because of how 'normal' I acted!. Then one day I told her all about it, but she just gave me a look of 'are you for real!?'!. All she told me was it would go away and you just ignore the people around you, period!.

But that could be different for you, so just try!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I remember as a teen feeling this way!. Go to a school councelor, a minister, even your primary doctor!.
Talking sometimes can be the best medicine for anyone, just to get it out can sometimes make you feel like you took 100 lbs off your shoulders!.
If these people you confide in think you need to tell your parents that you professional help, let them help you tell them!.
As a mother of three grown children I would much rather have known so I could help them get the help they needed than to make them go through the pain of not understanding what was going on and why they felt the way they did!.
Please confide in someone you trust you will feel better just giving yourself permission to do that!.
