Could i have an eating disorder?!

Question: Could i have an eating disorder!?
so people keep asking me if i have an eating disorder and its making me worry that perhaps i have become a bit obsessed!. i have been really overweight my whole life and recently lost a load of weight and its normal to change your way of thought when you dramatically change your lifestyle!. ive lost nearly 70 pounds in 6 months-from exercising at least 4 hours a day,i get hysterical, take laxatives or burn extra calories if i go over my 1000 calorie a day (i usually keep it around 900 in-case i counted wrong), i think about food all the time and hate people being around me when i eat, people tell me im too skinny but i think i still have a lot of fat to lose and hate looking at myself,i think theyre just not used to seeing me when im not obease anymore!.!.!.but at 5"6 and 112 pounds im definatly not underweight and i dont think that i am in danger or anything!.could i have an eating disorder!?

Yes, this sounds like the early stages of an eating disorder to me, but at least you are admitting some of the symptoms of this disorder!. What you are describing is the tell-tale signs of what is called Anorexia Nervosa, with Bulimia!. Anorexia is a condition where an individual's weight is either normal or underweight, yet the individual perceives him or herself as being overweight!. They will starve themselves and severely limit the amount of calories they consume over the fear that they will eat too much fat or calories and gain too much weight!. Excessive exercising or working out can also be a part of the anorexia disorder, too!. Bulimia is a disorder where the individual over-indulges on a particular food (usually cake, cookies, ice cream, other fat-laden, sugar-laden food), and then forces it out of their system by means of vomiting or taking laxatives!. In short, this is called Binging and Purging!. It is very unhealthy!. Both anorexia and bulimia are often the signs of a deeper emotional issue within the individual, often about how they look!. If you want more information about these disorders, you can start by checking out these sites:

I hope this is a good starting point for you and that you will reach out and get some help!. What you are describing at this point is fairly mild!. I've encountered people with far worse symptoms of anorexia and bulimia than what you've just described!. I still think that your conditions have cost you quite a bit of weight, however!. A weight of 112 pounds at 5'6" is a bit too low!. You could put back on about 15 to 20 pounds!. Congratulations, though, on your weight loss efforts from the years you've been overweight, and, again, please don't be afraid to talk about your problems with your parents or your doctor!. I'm sure things will eventually smooth out for you in the end!.

It sounds to me like you do!. The weight you're at now is the minimum you should be to remain healthy -- that's very skinny!. I know you don't believe that but you are!. You need to see a counselor right away!. Seeing a counselor does not mean there's something "wrong" with you, it just means you're admitting you need direction!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Food is meant to be enjoyed!. Being around others is an ancient way of bonding!.

1000 calories is not even close to enough!. I think you know this!. By asking this question you already know you might have a problem!. You should be enjoying food and relaxed about it!. Maybe you were teased for being bigger!? I am no expert!.
But I do have an reformed anorexic friend!. It will take a while to heal but the first step is finding someone qualified to talk to!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

first of all, nobody here can give you the answer to this question!. even if there is a qualified psychologist in the arena, there's no way to check that person's credentials!. if you feel like you have a problem, talk to a professional about it, for instance a counselor or a social worker!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah i think so you should visit a doctor and a psychologist!. actually i think you should gain some weight maybe like 10 - 20 poundsWww@Answer-Health@Com
