How do you get out of a rut?!
Question: How do you get out of a rut!?
I've been told I get stuck in a rut sometimes!. What does that mean and how do I get out of it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
It means that you keep doing the same thing, the same way over and over and perhaps without even thinking about it!. The result is that sooner or later you feel depressed and dissatisfied with life and are not enjoying what you are doing!.
You get out of a rut first by being able to recognize when you are in one!. Then you sit down and make a list of what you are doing!. Take some time to think about each thing and them write out what you might do different!.
Example:
My job is boring and I am not getting anywhere - I need to go back to school or take some classes so that I qualify for another job or a promotion!.
I am tired of cooking every night, then just watching television and going to bed - A couple of nights a week just have cereal or take out pizza and spend time listening to music, or soaking in a hot bath or both!. When you are done, do some reading!. Leave the television off!.
As you begin to do one or two things different, it becomes more and more and you are able to gradually climb out of your rut!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
