Paustin,
You've gotten some good ideas already, and your unwillingness to follow through with making friends may be a little of each of them!. We have all heard the horror stories about meeting people online, so your reticence may be an internal warning about a particular person whose email you have read!.

Another possibility is that perhaps this feeling is telling you that you are not ready to begin a new friendship just yet!. Still another idea about this may be you are expecting too much and are disappointed with the responses you have received!.

My personal recommendation: Meet in a neutral location with the idea that you are making an initial contact much the same as if you were meeting someone in a class!. Plan to meet many people over a few months to get some idea of how your email invitations are working!. Then, if you need to, improve how your invitations are worded!. Friendships and dating are experiences with getting to know both others and yourself!. You want to ask yourself if certain personality traits work well for you, or if you had better move on!. In a way, it could be viewed as a research project!.

Some places I find new friends are local casual learning classes, and community college classes!. You choose classes you will enjoy even if you don't find a new friend in every class!. It will start many interesting conversations, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is your subconscious telling you it is dangerous to actually meet someone from online in person!. Listen to that voice, it is giving you good advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could just be laziness or procrastination!. I know a lot of the time, I'll want to do something but can't bring myself to start!. It's just a matter of motivation, there isn't really anything wrong with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

im sorry i cant help you but i hafta say somethimes i feel the exact same way!. its like you want to talk with them and stuff but you just dont know how to really Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's your common sense telling you that meeting people online isn't that great of an idea!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
