Is there a mental disease where someone thinks they are a celebrity? ?!

Question: Is there a mental disease where someone thinks they are a celebrity!? !?
Weird question but I was wondering if there is a name for a disorder where 1) A person tries to become someone else!. 2) A person is obsessed with another person and tries to look/act like them!. 3) A person gets so into acting like a certain 'character' they forget who they are or become someone else!?

Is there a name for this problem!? Is it part of another psychological disorder!? Is there treatment for it!? What causes it!? Does it go away on it's own!? Is it dangerous!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be 'body dysmorphia' where an individual has the desire to alter every aspect of their appearance, in some cases, to look like somebody else or a celebrity

I recently saw an example in a magazine of a woman who had had several thousand pounds worth of facial cosmetic surgery to look like Michael Jackson!. I have seen other cases as well!.

I don't know if there is a specific name, I'm sure someone is researching it somewhere!. It probably is part of another disorder and the problems would be complex and deep rooted depending on each individual case!. A cure!? Who knows, if surgery has been done then physical cure could be too late but as with any mental disorder, there may be some form of therapy which could address the underlying causes!. I would imagine it doesn't go away on it's own and could potentially have detrimental effects for the suffererWww@Answer-Health@Com

Body Dysmophic Disorder or BDD is actually a disease where you believe your body looks different than it does--most commonly in terms of a skinny girl thinking she's fat!. It is a common tag-along with anorexia and bulimia!.

What you are describing sounds like the person is suffering from delusions--possible as a result of a manic episode!?

ETA: i read the story and I change my answer!.!.!.while it still could be a manic episode if she is bipolar, it sounds more like an obsession!. Same kind of obsession that makes someone stalk someone else!. that would be my thought!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it is called a "Napolean Complex" and not sure if they suffer from schizophrenia or a form of mental delusion!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds most like multiple personality disorder!. but i'm not quite sure :/Www@Answer-Health@Com
