How to not be so overly sensitive to little things? ?!

Question: How to not be so overly sensitive to little things!? !?
Sometimes I get infuriated by little things, i!.e!. someone cuts me off while driving or accidentally steps on my foot!. On one level, I know that I should not get as angry as I do, but on a more visceral level, I get so mad!. I believe this stems from the fact that I have got a lot of pent up rage, anger, aggression and impatience!. I always try to see things rationally, but sometimes the slightest thing will just set me off!. How can I not react this way!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

When it comes to anger, a lot of the time there are things in the past that you either haven't let go of yet or that needs to be dealt with!. You say you have a lot of pent up rage and anger, so the best thing to do now is to find out why you are angry and why it has built up!.
Do you have someone you can confide in and talk to so that you can get these things of your chest and not bottle it up!?
When you bottle it up, you gradually build up enough anger inside that there is an overflow leading you to act in aggression to things and people around you!. Its important to talk to someone and get these things off your chest!. Yes it sounds cheesy and simple but trust me it helps when you're not looking to be corrected but for someone to just hear you out and let you speak!.
Are things that have happened in your past that you've not faced caused you to bottle a lot of anger inside that you'd normally let out, or is there something in your current situation that could be making you frustrated i!.e!. financial problems, family problems etc!.

Maybe if you really want to, anger management classes could help!. Yes its another cliche but they don't make up services like this because they're bored, its really to simply benefit you!. Other than that sometimes meditating on something that you find peaceful i!.e!. beaches, island, kids/babies etc!. Also taking in 4 deep breathes has been clinically proven to help calm people down so maybe try doing that when something upsets you!.
Other than that, if its the simple little things that upset as you say, eventually it'll become frustrating to always calm yourself down too many times a day because we all know in one day lots of little annoying things will happen!. You'll end up getting frustrated calming yourself down all the time that even trying to calm yourself will get you riled up!.
That's why sometimes the best method is to try identify things or events that could have contributed to you bottling up all this anger i!.e!. bad child-hood experience, unable to open up to parents etc!.
When you find these sort of things out, its best that you talk about it with someone, and make sure they understand that if you're not looking to be corrected or given instructions but let them know that you just want to unload and let things off your chest!. Find people who are good active listeners!.
Another cliche coming, of course sometimes friends can eventually get fed up if you constantly talk to them about your problems so seeing a therapist of some sort could help in that area!.

Sometimes all you need is a good venting session and it can relieve a lot of the anxiety and stress of bottling things up!.

Hope I helped!.

P!.S!. sorry for the cliches but they were just simple stuff to make it more understandableWww@Answer-Health@Com

Jesus, he's got a lot to say for himself Rayban hasn't he!! Well, i am jsut like you, always have been, am terrible where road rage is concerned, but also at home!. My problem is, if things don't run smoothly, that's when i get ratty and often angry!. Am a bit of a control freak!. I believe it has a lot to do with one's demons, pent up tension being released, which isn't always a bad thing, though it should be channelled in a different way ideally, especially when other people are at the brut of it!!
I have found the gym helps me release anger, you might try it!?
