Question: How does depression cause psychosis!? Another final diagnoses, read!?
So i have a new diagnoses, again, and this time i hope its final!. its now Bipolar 1, they said the psychosis was an effect of my depression!. For when im extremely depressed and stressed is when it comes out!. how does depression and stress cause psychosis!? Im glad im not schizo-affective anymore, but im curious cuz thats something i did not know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It made sense when you said bipolar!.
Because with bipolar you have the down slide,
to complete debilitating depression and then
you have a sudden slide to a manic episode!.
Which is where the psychosis comes in!.
It is an in balance of chemicals in the brain!.
I'm pretty sure there isn't supposed to be psychosis with Major depressive disorder, but I may be mistaken!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
