I know what it's like!. like the muscles in your body are struggling to keep you stuck in the couch!. Get your comfiest clothes on and walk to the store!. Buy something small, like bubblegum!. low in calories, and the sugar will make you a tiny bit happier!. Once you get out, the exercise makes you feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.
Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.
The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to!.!.!.!.

I think it would be a great idea! I give you props for doing that because i always tell myself that I should just go for a walk to ease the anxiety!.!. But I can't ever get the courage and Umph to go out there and do it!.!. When I do I get paranoid!.!. But I think it would be an excellent idea, they say the only way to cure your anxiety is to put yourself out there whether you want to be or not!.!.!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it will help take your mind off it and force you out of the anxiety mode, sure!. If it won't then maybe go do something else outside, like weeding, if you have a yard!. Will hopefully clear your mind!.

If you do have a yard, try planting something that requires care, like roses or other plants that need to be pruned often and cared for!. (Especially combating 'black spot' on roses!.) And then go pick at them a while when you need to get your mind out of that anxious place!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bad anxiety!? No!. You would be better advised to take a short walk!. When I am experiencing the kind of anxiety you are talking about, I put on my comfortable shoes and simply follow the path behind our home down into the community park just a little way!. There are community gardens and a couple of ice ponds and lots of trees!. I deliberately walk slowly, and I usually need to cry because anxiety feels terrible!. I walk slowly and look at the trees!. When I find a tree that looks good to me I go over to it and hug it!. I put my arms all the way around it and just hang on for a few minutes!. I can feel all the anxiety draining out of me ("earthing" the anxiety), and it feels wonderful!.

Some people take pills!. I find that doesn't work for me!. I also have noticed when I feel anxiety, I usually have not made good choices about what I ate a little while earlier!. I have also learned not to eat anything foolish just before going to bed at night!. That almost always guarantees a 3 A!.M!. "ambush," where your eyes snap wide open and you can't get back to sleep again unless you march your boots down to the kitchen and make yourself a great cup of hot tea with honey, sip it slowly in a darkened living room and then go back upstairs to bed again!.

Everybody deals with anxiety differently!. Some anxiety is a medical condition!. Some anxiety is just conditional - like too much caffeine in the system - cut back on your coffee intake!. Some anxiety comes from the thought of an upcoming event and it leaves immediately when the event is over!.

The trick, as I see it, is to study your own anxiety and see if you can find what works for you!. Sometimes, I hop on my 12-speed touring bike and go for a ride around the neighborhood that might take me half an hour or so, and if my better energy kicks in during that little ride, sometimes if I start to feel better and stronger, I will extend the ride to go for about an hour or so!. I come back feeling rested, not anxious at all, and much better overall!. I return from such a ride centered and quiet inside my psyche!. My mind and heart feel calm and tuned in again and everything smooths out and makes sense again, as always!.
