Have you tried breathing exercises!? Quick breath in (not a gasp,) slow, controlled breath out!. That simple exercise has gotten me through awful panic attacks by forcibly slowing my heart rate down!.

i got beta blockers from the doctor for flying!. while i was still scared and anxious i didn't have a full blown panic attack and got though the flight ok!. i also listened to a relaxation cd which i put on my i-pod and that helped a bit!. air stewards can also help- if they know you are nervous they will be really nice to you! one was very sweet to me and explained what all the noises were, why turbulence happens and so on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Dramamine! My mom has the same reaction!. It's for motion sickness, but it pretty much slows things down and puts you to sleep!. Take one or two depending on how bad your anxiety is!. It works wonders! Www@Answer-Health@Com
