Stuff about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?!

Question: Stuff about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder!?
I want to know how to tell my parents that I have it!. I have had it since I was 7, but I thought it was just normal until I saw a thing on Oprah about 3 boys who had it and I realized I wasn't normal!. It doesn't just make me touch things 5 times with each hand and make me point my feet into every side of the room, but it also eats away at my imagination!. If I try to imagine something ropes and stuff come and hold me back and rip through my eyes and stuff!.

My questions:
How to tell the parents!?
Treatments/therapies to battle the effects!?

Also, any general information would be much appreciated!. Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I took medicine for a while but what helped me the most was just working to not give in to the compulsions!. The more you don't do what your mind is telling you that you must do, the more you realize that nothing bad will happen when you don't!.
You should just tell your parents if they haven't noticed or talk to your doctor about it at your next visit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Never be afraid to talk to your parents abot problems going on in your life!.

OCD can be helped with medication or therapy and counseling!.

Get help as soon as possible though because it can get worse as you get older!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
